CALL OF THE TUNDRA
Struggle to find a play for a large young company?
Finding the right play for the various young groups we work with is often the biggest challenge we face. In fact, once this difficult decision is made, it's all joyful, a little stressful at times but we all love it, don't we? It is hard to find a play with more than 15-20 decent parts, so when you are faced with trying to find a suitable play for an entire school year it is extremely hard. I looked very hard for a suitable adaptation of the Snow Queen (of which there is quite a few) but none were suitable for a year group of 46 capable and keen pupils. Using Hans Christian Andersen's original text as much as possible. Our finished result is a wonderful adventure story with masses of fun, drama, giving all children a chance to shine!
